The Syracuse Remembrance committee has posted updated details on the five memorial services to be held on December 21, 2013, the 25th anniversary of the bombing of Pan Am 103.
Services will be held in the following locations:
Syracuse University — 2:03 PM in Hendricks Chapel
Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA — 1:30 PM at the Pan Am Cairn
Westminster Abbey, London, England — 6:45 PM
Lockerbie, Scotland — 2 PM at the Dryfesdale Cemetery, and another at 6:30 PM at the Dryfesdale Church
SU’s Lubin House, New York, NY — 1:30-3:30 PM
All but the ceremony at the Lubin House are open to the public (SU recommends that those interested in attending the memorial at the Lubin House should Scott Austin scott.austin.sca@gmail.com due to space limitations)
Traci and I are spending Christmas in Honeoye with my parents and Webster with my sisters. We’re combining trips so we can attend the memorial in Hendricks Chapel and at the Wall of Remembrance. As with Remembrance Week, I’ll have the cameras with me and I hope to post an additional blog entry or chapter with a photo essay shortly after the 21st.
